OUR HOLY FATHER, POPE FRANCIS

CKLC professes filial devotion, loyalty, and true obedience to Pope Francis, the Successor of St. Peter and Vicar of Christ. We reject the prideful attitude of those who place their personal opinions above those of the Holy Father and his bishops. Yet we resist any command or policy which violates Catholic Tradition. As the former Pope Benedict XVI himself stated, the authority of the Pope "is not unlimited; it is at the service of Sacred Tradition". (Pope Benedict XVI, The Spirit of the Liturgy, 165-166).
