CKLC Reacts to the Supreme Court's Decisions on Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA):

'The Supreme Court of the United States has no authority to define or re-define marriage. It was already defined by God our Creator who became man in the person of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Sacred Scripture teaches us that “There is no power but from God” (Romans 13:1). Therefore no human authority, whether it be the Supreme Court, or the Congress, or even the President of the United States has the power to enact any law contrary to the law of God. “Long live Christ the King! Long live the Virgin of Guadalupe!”'
